Born September 1, 1957 in Havana, Cuba. Married to Emilio Estefan, Jr. since September 2, 1978. Their son, Nayib Emil Estefan was born on september 2, 1980 and their daughter, Emily Marie Estefan was born on December 5, 1994.

She is in Billboard magazine's top 100 best selling musical artists and is the most successful crossover performer to date with an estimated 100 million records sold worldwide.
